While working at Hall & Partners I had the chance to work on several projects for Swaders Sports Park. One of the last projects I worked on was putting together a script for a :30 TV spot. I was given the great Apple Think Different spot to serve as my inspiration as I attempted to develop a script that would entertain and connect with the auidence, possibly encouraging them to live in the moment.

I was very pleased with the script that I came up with. I think writing this script was the highlight of my time at Hall & Partners. It was inspiring and exciting to develop a script that didn’t have to be full of the hard facts, or cheesy. It is creative, inspiring and alive.

Here is the final product. (Note: I was only in charge of writing the script. I didn’t have anything to do with the production…including the audio.)

Recently I had the pleasure of working with web-genius and all-around nice guy, Rick Whittington on creating a new website for commercial real estate giant, Thalhimer.

For my role, I reviewed Thalhimer’s old site and quickly identified that they needed a very strong voice on their new site to match their reputation of being the leading commercial real estate agency in the state. This involved developing some new copy and revising information from their previous site. Overall I think it came together quite well. Their new site should be much more accessible to customers and Thalhimer employees.

Check out Rick’s review of the site on his blog.

About six years ago I started a personal blog as a means to keep up with friends & family. Over the years I’ve wavered between obsessing over my blog with constant theme changes and multiple posts per day, to declaring myself an unfit blogger due to blog neglect. But, through it all I have loved identifying myself as a blogger. I love that my blog has allowed me to share a snapshot of my daily life with family, connect with new friends from all over the world and also record my life over the past few years.

As I start my own company offering copywriting services, it is quite natural for me to start a blog along with it. Blogs are amazing in how they can create a community. Hopefully this one will create a community of professionals who can share wisdom, experience and the occasional laugh with each other. My goal is for this blog to become a useful resource for getting information about copywriting, blogging, SEO, social networking and online marketing - oh, and to be interesting too!
